Good Shepherd Nursing Home

Good Shepherd Nursing Home LC provides quality skilled nursing care for residents in a comfortable environment.  Good Shepherd is the largest non-profit facility of its kind in West Virginia, as well as being one of the lowest cost nursing homes in the Ohio Valley.

U.S. News & World Report has named Good Shepherd as one of America’s best nursing homes for the past seven years — as long as the magazine has been rating long-term care providers.

The Good Shepherd philosophy involves treating each resident with respect and compassion.  The caring and friendly staff works to foster and promote the overall well-being of each resident.

Good Shepherd is a skilled nursing facility and has a staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants on duty 24 hours a day.  The staff works closely with individual residents’ physicians to provide the best care possible for each resident.

Good Shepherd offers Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy five days a week to residents in need of rehabilitative and/or restorative services.  It also provides social workers to assist residents and their families.

Visiting hours are from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily.  However, these hours are flexible to accommodate special situations.
