Good Shepherd Nursing Home
Residents enjoy the services of competent and caring staff. Good Shepherd has a staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants on duty 24 hours a day. The staff works closely with individual residents’ physicians to provide the best care possible for each resident. Good Shepherd transports residents at no charge to medical appointments, so residents can visit their personal physicians as needed.
Good Shepherd offers Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy five days a week to residents in need of rehabilitative and/or restorative services. The facility also provides social workers who assist residents and their families.
A number of other medical specialists, including podiatrists, psychiatrists and dentists, visit Good Shepherd regularly to provide care for residents.
Good Shepherd Nursing Home is happy to accept Medicaid as well as private payment sources.
Pharmacy services are provided to the facility through the Wheeling Hospital Pharmacy and a full-time staff pharmacist.
Outpatient Services Transportation
Transportation for outpatient services is available at Good Shepherd at no additional charge to residents. Accessible vans are available to transport those individuals who require wheelchairs.
